What things give you energy?

To hold an artist paint brush is like a magic wand. You never know what magic will come from. Your imagination picks the colours on the canvas, and the brush guides your feelings.

They were the days of vinyl.

That one called ?

Remember your family front room a record player and a telly and a few framed pictures it was the blue room.

I was so memorized by the sound of different music me and my mum danced and danced to 78′ then the vinyl came and then 70’s did a bit easy listening of everything from going to pub meets on me motorcycle and doing in the 80’s a bit of mobile D J stuff gave up on records got so expensive I gave up still got me records.

Art show

Is coming to its end. I have reduced every painting or prints by 50% or more for the last week show ends 26/09/2025 if you need a bargain go and see while it lasts next week.

Music is the soul of happiness. I paint instead now to help me cope. I had a mental breakdown last year it made me turn to art again. I had 8 months shut away in a spare bedroom. I only came out to eat or go shopping. I struggled with my own mind, and my art and my wife’s support helped me to recover.

What would your life be like without music?

A leader with a brush commands many colours. Some are stronger, and some are weaker with training they command strength.

Brian Jack’s being world champion in judo and superstars champion on tv and also for me the sport of judo I practiced at Croydon club for 30 something years great sport and great feeling on the mat.
